Our families include foster and adopted children, medically fragile kids, neurodivergent thinkers, blended family dynamics, and experiences across both public and homeschool education. We’ve navigated learning differences, racial identity, special education, and the realities of parenting through trauma while healing from our own.
From first responders, veterans, and teachers to students, CEOs, and stay-at-home parents and grandparents, each person and their unique journey is honored here. When you walk through our doors, know that we’ve likely sat in a version of your story. We understand what it means to fight for calm, advocate for your child and spouse, and seek help that truly helps. We bring our whole hearts, clinical training, and lived experience to every session because we know how much is at stake. We’re honored to be trusted with your family’s care.
Lindsey’s path to healing began with her own. After a decade of navigating chronic illness, including anxiety, fatigue, pain, and autoimmune challenges, she discovered IASIS Microcurrent Neurofeedback at the age of 30. It was the first approach that brought real, lasting change, and it didn’t take long for her to feel called to help others experience the same.
Since then, Lindsey has guided hundreds of clients through thousands of sessions, combining deep personal empathy with expert training. Her approach is intuitive, attuned, and deeply human, grounded in lived experience and a love of meaningful connection.
Originally from West Virginia and raised in Waco, Lindsey now lives in Waxahachie with her two daughters, one adopted through foster care and one biological, who are the center of her world. When she’s not in session, you’ll likely find her baking something cozy, restoring a 1920s bungalow, or playing music in the background of everyday life.
As a founder of North Star Healing, Lindsey is honored to hold space for others on their path and grateful to work alongside the gifted team of Ashley and Allye.
As a homeschool mom of five in a blended family and the wife of a police officer, Ashley is no stranger to high-pressure environments or the toll they can take on the nervous system. Her journey with IASIS MCN began when searching for answers to help her son’s sleep disorder. While the improvements to his mood and depression were life-changing, what surprised her most was how much her own healing mattered too.
Encouraged by Lindsey to begin IASIS MCN herself, Ashley experienced a dramatic shift both physically and emotionally. Years of anxiety, overstimulation, and the need to constantly “push through” began to ease. She could breathe again and found that she was no longer stuck in patterns of trauma that had been with her throughout her life. With that breath came the clarity, calm, and capacity to show up more fully for her family.
After experiencing such a personal transformation, Ashley trained in IASIS MCN and joined the North Star Healing team to offer others the same compassionate care. Clients often come to her feeling overwhelmed or ashamed, and she meets them exactly where they are with warmth, grace, and the hard-won empathy of someone who’s walked a similar road.
Ashley is passionate about helping clients reconnect with themselves, rebuild capacity, and restore a sense of calm that lasts beyond each session. Watching people reclaim their joy and nervous system balance remains one of the most meaningful parts of her work.
With over 14 years of experience as a registered nurse, including 11 years spent in the NICU, Allye brings deep compassion, clinical expertise, and a calming presence to every session. Her background caring for newborns and their families during life’s most fragile moments has shaped her approach: gentle, intuitive, and rooted in connection.
Allye was first introduced to IASIS through her own family. After seeing how it helped her daughter move through severe anxiety and sleep challenges, she became a firm believer in its power to restore balance. The transformation was life-changing, not just for her daughter but for the entire family. So when the opportunity came to partner with North Star Healing, she didn’t hesitate.
Alongside her nursing career, Allye and her husband, Andrew, have spent the past 13 years as foster parents, welcoming 38 children into their home and hearts. As parents to four children, both biological and adopted, they carry a deep understanding of trauma, resilience, and the importance of whole-family healing. Their commitment to family preservation and reunification has shaped every part of their journey.
Allye is honored to walk alongside clients in their healing and feels grateful to be part of a team so dedicated to helping others feel safe, seen, and steady again.
